This vibrant space has mobilised 3,680 youth, incubated 89 businesses, and created 37 jobs while fostering leadership through the Virasat Samiti. Its transition to community ownership ensures lasting impact on the local economy.

Nestled in Project High School, the WoW Hub has become the beating heart of Jonha's transformation. This vibrant space has been buzzing with entrepreneurial energy, hosting EDP workshops that turn ideas into business plans and facilitating crucial connections between farmers and entrepreneurs. Young people are discovering their potential through psychometric testing and career counselling sessions, while digital skill courses prepare them for tomorrow's job market. The hub also serves as an agricultural support centre, distributing Rabi season essentials to local farmers.

2. Youth Advisory Group: The Heartbeat of Community-Led Development

The Youth Advisory Group (YAG) represents a groundbreaking approach to participatory development in Jonha, transforming young residents from passive beneficiaries to active architects of change. This multidimensional approach has aligned with Siddho Kanho Yuva Khel Club which has created a virtuous cycle where youth gain practical leadership experience while directly shaping development outcomes. The YAG model demonstrates how investing in youth leadership creates ripple effects across the entire community, making development initiatives more relevant, sustainable, and impactful.

They're supported by two committed CLF (Cluster Level Federation) human resources professionals who bridge the gap between institutional goals and community needs. This hybrid model combines professional accountability with grassroots sensitivity. The management team doesn't just administer programs - they curate experiences, ensuring every visitor finds value whether they're a farmer collecting seeds, a young entrepreneur attending EDP training, or a woman SHG member exploring new livelihood options.

The Virasat Samiti form the backbone of support for Jonha's Yuva Compass Hub, creating a powerful ecosystem that sustains and amplifies youth development efforts. At the Panchayat level, elected representatives ensure the hub's infrastructure needs are met while aligning its activities with government skilling schemes and local employment policies. The Virasat Samiti plays a unique role as cultural curator, integrating traditional tribal arts and handicrafts into hub programming and developing heritage-based entrepreneurship opportunities that connect youth with their roots. Youth themselves have become part of this governance cycle, with YAG representatives now regularly presenting impact reports at PRI meetings, co-designing cultural programming with Virasat, and voicing young perspectives at VO gatherings.

Jonha Waterfalls: Nature’s Serene Wonder

Jonha Falls, also known as Gautamdhara Falls, is a breathtaking waterfall located in the Ranchi district of Jharkhand. This mesmerizing cascade is a hanging valley waterfall, formed by the waters of the Gunga River, which plunge from a height of 43 meters (141 feet) into a deep gorge, creating a spectacular sight.

Surrounded by lush green forests and rocky cliffs, Jonha Falls is a popular tourist destination and picnic spot, attracting nature lovers, photographers, and adventure seekers. The serene ambiance and the rhythmic sound of gushing water make it an ideal place for relaxation and rejuvenation.

One of the unique attractions near Jonha Falls is the Gautam Buddha Temple, built by Buddhist monks. The temple adds a spiritual charm to the place, making it a blend of natural beauty and religious significance. Visitors must descend around 722 steps to reach the base of the waterfall, providing an adventurous experience.

Jonha Falls is best visited during the monsoon and post-monsoon seasons, when the waterfall is at its fullest, offering a spectacular view. The site is well-connected by road from Ranchi (about 40 km away) and can be reached via Jonha railway station, which is nearby.
